Eventful Years
Eventful Years is one of the titles in the Reeling Back Time programme of nostalgic black and white films exploring the days of War in Europe, the Pacific and on the Homefront. Come and join the 1960s RNZAF as they celebrate their 21st anniversary with a look back at some ‘Eventful Years'. Beginning at Base Wigram, this film takes you back to training at Air Force Bases across New Zealand to active service in Europe, South East Asia and the Pacific. 'Eventful Years' is a series of authentic archival films that explores the RNZAF's changing horizons from WW1 to the 1960s and will be screened in conjunction with other films from the Air Force Museum's archive three times daily during Heritage Week.
