Thanks

Thank you to all of our sponsors who have contributed to this year's Beca Heritage Week. Your involvement, cooperation and support is always greatly appreciated and we recognise it is integral to the success of the week.

Thank you to the team at Beca who are now in their third year as naming rights sponsor and always have a strong presence and participation at events. We acknowledge our other key sponsors – the Canterbury Community Trust and The Radio Network who have generously come on board again, along with a newcomer – The Star.

Beca Heritage Week would not be possible without the community event organisers who put on their events as part of the week. We are also grateful to Margaret Lovell-Smith for her liaison work with many of our community groups. We would like to acknowledge the Council's Strategy & Planning Group Heritage Team, the Heritage Week Management Group, and the excellent work of Karen Hamilton from 360 Degree Events. We are proud to say all marketing and design was done in-house, and thank you to Steven Dunn – Christchurch City Council Graphic Designer for capturing the balance between peace and conflict.

Last but not least we would like to thank all the other organisations who have provided us with their support including: The New Zealand Historic Places Trust, Canterbury Museum, The Arts Centre, Bailies Bar, Shipley's Audiovisual, Christchurch City Libraries and Our City O-Tautahi. We hope you all enjoy Beca Heritage Week 2009 and we look forward to 2010!
